The Argument
Tell me a long slow tale about all the good in this life but you'll never change my mind as long as you're lying
I am the tree that fell the forest was empty at the time but I felt the mercury rising and red
I am the argument, I am the argument you haven't won yet
talk to me, why won't you talk to me
I won't apologise because we don't see eye to eye It turns out that what you don't know sometimes can hurt me
I know that borderlines lie under this painted sky I can read all the signs and I know you're lost
I am the argument, I am the argument you haven't won yet
